Audi of America will begin offering 3.0-liter V6 diesel engines in the A8, A7 and A6 cars and the Q5 crossover beginning next year. The four TDI diesel-equipped models will make their debuts next week at the Los Angeles auto show. Jaguar Land Rover has reported its best sales figures ever in March 2013, with Land Rover sales up by 12 per cent and Jaguar by 20.6 per cent. But March 2013 has topped all their results so far with an all-time record number of cars sold – a TOTAL OF 17,733, up by 20 per cent on March 2012.
Lamborghini could launch an SUV in 2017, CEO Stephan Winkelmann told a German newspaper. The Italian supercar brand will unveil a concept for the vehicle at the Beijing motor show on April 23 to test public reaction, according to a report in the German business daily Handelsblatt on Thursday. Winkelmann wants the SUV as a third model line along with the Gallardo and Aventador super cars to help make the brand profitable.
